Lost and Found

A friend gave me a $50 gift certificate from an art store for my birthday—she gave it to me years ago, pre-covid. I put it in my wallet and forgot about it, until the other day when I was looking for something in my wallet. Wondering what it was, I pulled it out and to my surprise, I found the card and I went shopping.

After which I texted my friend to show her what I bought. Then I called her and we made plans to get together with another friend for lunch. I called the other friend, who said yes to lunch.

It was a good day. Lunch is in two weeks.
