Welcome to the first full week of March!
Hello, Write Edge readers! It’s a chilly, blustery day here in Central Illinois today. I had to run outside for a minute this morning to speak to someone and had only grabbed a thin jacket. Brrr!
That’s okay; I have plenty of good content to keep you warm. :>
First, this week’s short story. I had no idea, when I picked this prompt, what would come of it. I wish I knew more about this protagonist and the choice he made, but sometimes writing is like that. Maybe you can share your theories with me! Here’s the one-sentence excerpt:
[T]hose who ran away had to keep running until life kicked them in the butt and forced them to stop.
Read the whole story now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop!
Next, it’s this week’s book for my review. On Wednesday I’ll share my thoughts on the recently released novel The Unsinkable Greta James by Jennifer E. Smith. If you want to know whether you should pick it up too, come back in the middle of the week for my review on The Write Edge Bookshelf.
Finally, at the end of the week, we’ll go back to Instagram and new posts there. You’ll find out what I’m reading for next week’s book review (just look for the #bookreviewpreview with the post) among other bits and pieces of my writing and non-writing life. Find older posts with my handle, @EktaRGarg, or visit my Facebook author page.
In the meantime, take care of each other and then yourselves, readers!
