Amazon will close bookstores, 4-star and Pop Up retail outlets to focus on grocery and fashion - GeekWire

 Panzer's nap was interrupted when he was shaken from his kitty bed by the crying and gnashing of teeth coming from the Catosphere. Jumping in the Panzermobile our brave kitty boy followed all the woe to the GeekWire site. There he discovered a post about Amazon was causing all the angst.
Why?According to a post by Todd Bishop and Taylor Soper, Amazon announced today it is closing its 68 Amazon 4-star, Amazon Books, and Pop Up stores. The post includes links to other posts about Amazons bricks and mortar retail books outlets and reactions to the closings.
Panzer says, "Nobody expected this to happen."
