Well,

so far (knock on wood) the scratching post seems to be working. I think it helps that it's fairly tall, has tight carpeting, which seems to appeal to the critters. And I'm sure the catnip I spray on it doesn't hurt anything:)

 The tulips are ready for spring.

The rose bushes are thinking seriously about it.

It's time to plant the holly tree.

AND

An easy peasy salad

 

layered with spinach leaves, shredded carrots, apples, walnuts, red peppers with honey mustard dressing. The next time I made it, I left out the red peppers and liked the flavor better.
