Hard Drive - View and Review

A huge thank you to all of you who took advantage of my two day freebie sale of my book 'Hard Drive'. First, the boring statistical bit. Prior to the sale, I had one review of the book posted on the Amazon UK site and none anywhere else. However, over the two days I reached #3 in the Amazon Kindle Hard-boiled Mystery free download chart in the UK and #8 in the US. I even managed a small number of downloads in Germany. I reached #459 in the UK free Kindle books chart and #1,194 in the US. For a new crime fiction writer, I am delighted that I now have well over 300 new readers of my book and of course it is back on sale for the price of a cheeseburger...and it will last longer.
Now the cheesy, grovelling bit. I know that many of you will have added my book to a growing list of 'to read' books and like me, it's a case of working through that list. When you get around to reading 'Hard Drive', I would be thrilled if you can find the time to post a review on Amazon. Be as honest as you want. A host of 5 stars are one thing, but we all know that these can be misleading. Friends and family are great, but readers aren't fooled. I would rather attract honest and constructive comments. Of course, if you want a role in a future story, feel free to slag the book off.
