When we teach, we meet life.

Jacob Needleman said that a sense of meaning is more important than anything else in life.

He said: “We’re built to serve something greater than ourselves.”

For me, teaching has given me that sense of meaning—that sense of serving something greater than myself.

Teaching is deep and rich…it’s the ultimate MEETING OF LIFE.

Stepping into a new teaching situation, I have no idea what challenges (or gifts) lie before me.

I’m ready for an adventure.
