Welcome to this week's Six Sentence Sunday. The first six sentences from my recently released novella,
Love Delivered.
Biancalifted a box of books and bit back a curse when a heavy tome fell on herflip-flop-covered foot. She dropped the box, hopped around on her good foot, and shrieked when she spotted a grinning, dark-haired man standing at the frontscreen door."Sorry!I didn't mean to startle you," he said.So whatif he had a nice smile and his tan skin crinkled in a friendly way around hissky blue eyes? For all she knew he was a murderer, even if this wasn't New York City. Her jadedattitude came from real-life experience—she'd been mugged twice in the pastyear. Just because this was a small town didn't make it criminal-proof.Purchase links for Love Delivered: The Wild Rose Press Amazon Barnes and NobleThanks for stopping by today.
