How do you create a Peyton Manning? I asked myself that after watching his 2 minute press conference last week as he was released by the Indianapolis Colts. Classy. Respectful. Humble. Dignified. Well done.

How do you help your kids grow into that kind of person? The kind of person who generates the classiest 2 minutes in YouTube history at the press conference where he is being let go from the franchise he built? Here's my 4-part recipe:

1) FAITH - Help your child have faith in God. Faith not only grounds an individual when hard times come, it also gives your child a larger view of the world. He will move toward humility by recognizing that God, not himself, is the center of the universe.
