Sometimes the person you need is the last one you expect…

When the mob shows up at her door, Cate Biscayne knows her father is up to his old tricks. Determined to force him out of hiding, the criminals he conned take her hostage. With the clock. she’s forced to decide—risk her life and do what they want, or accept help from a man who might be even more dangerous.

Brutal by nature, Scottish dragon-warrior Rannock has little patience for humans. But when the woman he longs for goes missing, he flies halfway around the world to investigate her disappearance. With few clues to follow, he infiltrates a network in the criminal underworld, only to discover a magic more sinister than his own.

Can he find Cate before time runs out? Or will he lose the woman fated to be his forever?

Karen Just read your newsletter and I'm pleased to find someone else like me. I two was a late reader. I'm also an auditory learner and since we read in small groups out of the same book I could listen and learn what was written on each page of the book so when it was my time to read it was from memory. I was in 4th grade when my teacher figure this out and I spent the rest of that school year with a privity tutor learning to read. Once I learned how to read I couldn't stop reading. The worlds I visit while reading make me feel alive. I've always dreamed of being an author and have written Fan Fiction and a few non-fan fiction. I've even enter a few contests for publishing contracts. Came in 1st with over 60% of the public vote and still didn't get the contract they gave it to someone who only got 5% of the vote said my story just wouldn't sell... I tried a second time and came in second. Then my late husbands health started to fail and I didn't have time to write or read. He passed in Aug of 2018 and I'm just now getting back into reading. He was my Muse so don't know if I'll try writing again. I will be starting this new book tomorrow as I preordered it but in the middle of another book at the moment and will have it finished tonight. Funny thing I grew up in Seattle and now live in Oklahoma. Have many friends from high school who now live in Black Dimond area. Thanks from writing and sharing this world with us.
