The New iPad

I love new technology. It's so slick, so astounding, and so tempting. Just a credit card swipe away at any given time. The new iphone is, actually, breathtaking. So many features. So clever. So many things I don't need and never would use.

Much as I love it all I recognize that this sort of thing is a tool only for a very few people, and that I am not one of those people. For me it would be just another thing with which to fill up my mind's space — space I like to keep uncluttered so I can actually think. I'm not a Luddite. I don't hate technology. I just want it to serve me, and not have to be its slave.
