What I'm Reading Wednesday

I finished Strip Search by Shayla Black aka Shelley Bradley. I really enjoyed this story though I did want to give Mark a smack at one point but then every good hero needs a little smack once in a while when he's being a stubborn male!

I had all these great books loaded on my Sony reader and then by chance I happened upon a new release by my FAVOURITE AUTHOR Marian Keyes. So sorry everyone else, she moved to the top of the list with The Brightest Star in the Sky. I've started it and can't quit...

Michael Cogdill Kelly, your longing to smack that hero tells me Shelley Bradley did some fine work in Strip Search. I know about stubborn males. So does my wife, Jill, who lives with one.

As a writer who works on writing women well, I'm curious: Do you believe its easier for women to write male characters or men to write women? Wally Lamb is famous for the latter. What are your thoughts.

Warmest peace. Best of tidings to you,
Michael

Kelly Jamieson Interesting question Michael! I haven't read much fiction by male authors lately. I suspect women reading fiction written by women usually think female authors to a good job of portraying male characters but if men were to read it, they might disagree! I wish I could get my husband to give me honest feedback but he's just not a reader.
