"How to Make an Apple Pie from Scratch: In Search of the Recipe for Our Universe, from the Origins of Atoms to the Big Bang

Just finished reading "How to Make an Apple Pie from Scratch: In Search of the Recipe for Our Universe, from the Origins of Atoms to the Big Bang" by Harry Cliff, released Doubleday Books.
Perhaps best known for his 2015 TED Talk, "Have We Reached the End of Physics/" - short answer "no" - particle physicist Cliff is based out of the University of Cambridge and carries out research with the LHCb experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider.
In the original Cosmos television mini-series, the late Carl Sagan famously proclaimed that you need to create a universe in exactly the right fashion before you can have the ingredients to bake an apple pie. While referencing this famous clip from Sagan's Cosmos, Cliff takes the reader on a journey on how the universe was created and how it has evolved over time to become the universe we now live in today. A very enthralling adventure that includes a list on how to create a universe in order to bake an apple pie at the end of the reader's journey.
Highly Recommended.
Five Stars.
