Clouds Beaming

It's another day,
cloudy with a chance of rain.
Why are some cloudy days bright?
While others aren't.
Looking up at the sky wondering why,
when I can't even open my eyes.
Closing them, closing the door.
I can't look anymore.
No rain to wash away the rays.
Just clouds that won't go away.
What makes the light with no sun?
It's daytime, the moon is not making fun.
Any other cloudy day is easily shown.
Easily able to watch the clouds roam on a field of their own.
Different shades of gray that can make different shapes.
But today is not the same.
It's too bright when the sky is lit with rays.
