I am Me, Right?

So, in random news of the weird, I had to go through a four day email exchange with a printing company over some swag I ordered.--swag is stuff people give away, in my case it was romance trading card swag-- They rejected my order because they said I don't own the copyright for 'Ann Mayburn' and that I can't put my website address down on the card.

What? Seriously?

They asked me to send some type of proof of identification that I have license to use the www.annmayburn.com website...even though I placed the order as Ann Mayburn from my annmayburn email address. But wait, it gets better. After I get the website ownership part figured out, they then say there is too much nipple in my image. So I then spend another day emailing back and forth showing that the 'nipple' in question was actually some sequence and shadows on the woman's dress. Not an actual nipple.

I tell my husband about it and all he does is laugh and tells me that he wishes he spent all day at work arguing about nipples. :P

Men.

Vivian That sounds incredibly aggravating, but I can see your husband's point. Glad it was resolved, too bad later rather than sooner.

Ann Mayburn Live and learn. The most aggravating part for me is I was dealing with someone overseas who didn't really write or understand English, which is a horrible language to try to translate. I was tempted to send them a picture with big pasties over the girl's boobs and a fig leaf over her pelvic area, but hubs talked me out of it. ;)
