Learn Something New
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
We’re about to enter a new year and it is so important you look at your life and start to assess what is it that you need to do to become the person that you are going to be.
This new year is going to demand you learn something new to become the person you’re capable of becoming.
As you read this blog, I want to share, every time I learn something new, I realize that I have so much more to learn. But, I’m still encouraged because I’m getting better and I’m discovering life out at a more richer level than ever before.
Your commitment to learning something new sets you up to make this new year, your best year ever. Everything is changing and the person who is willing to learn new things has the potential to experience a refreshing experience everyday.
As we are enter 2022, I want to ask you this question: What’s something you’ve always wanted to learn or do but continue to put off?
Make this new year count:
+Create some new goals for yourself.
+Learn something new every week in this new year.
+Challenge your skillset every day.
YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW. Do not go into this year saying you are too old.
If you want to train your brain for success, here’s what to do: determine what you want to achieve, then reverse engineer the steps you need to take to achieve it – and learn about each step as you go.
For example, say that you want to start a business. Let’s reverse-engineer how to do it.
Learn about ways to make money so you can choose a type of business to start (i.e., learn about drop shipping, affiliate marketing, consulting, etc). Learn all about your chosen business model.
Identify the first step you need to take to get started and learn about it (i.e., how to find products to sell).
Whether you learn to bake, do origami, or build a business, consider taking a free online course to learn something new.
The more knowledge we gain, the humbler we become. The humbler we become, the more we realize we know nothing.
Be curious and teachable in this upcoming new year.
You can always learn something new and apply it. Your mind and body are capable of extraordinary things.
