Amazon's second chance: Bellevue gives tech giant an opportunity to reshape its regional legacy - GeekWire

Today, Panzer made a stop at the GeekWire site. With a little digging in the posts our illustrious kitty boy found one about Amazon's business expansion plans in the city of Bellevue Washington.
According to the post by Todd Bishop, Amazon is making a big impression on the Bellevue Washington business climate. Amazon already has one major building project underway in the city with a second in the planning stages and other buildings leased. The city didn't offer Amazon any special tax breaks or business perks to come there. Instead, Amazon came to the city with their business plans already formed. Amazon's Andy Jassy says the extra perks weren't necessary because the Puget Sound region is the company's HQ1 now. This post is long because it addresses not only Amazon's business plans for Bellevue, but, also, Bellevue's plans for businesses within the city.
Panzer says, Seattle just isn't business friendly anymore. Seattle isn't business friendly.
Panzer says, "This little kitty thinks Amazon is making the right decision to make the Puget Sound region their HQ1 instead of Seattle."
Note: This is a humongous post. Bring a thermos of cocoa, eight muffins and three chocolate chip cookies for today's reading selection.
