Is there a way to get more students to pass this math class—and even get them to like it?

Not all math is created equally (no pun intended). Spatial thinkers will do better in geometry as apposed to formula driven algebra.

in the other hand, math. ugh. i hate math. In fact the teacher very good at math, she got "with great praise" at college. but... when she start to teaching, it's like she just teaching "a student who already good at math" hahhh. and she has minus attitude though. perhaps, its because she still young and lack of experiences. So in my opinion, teachers play an important role in the learning system.
