Joe is known for his nine books in the First Law universe where he created fan favorite characters like Glokta and Logen Ninefingers. He has also written the young adult Shattered Sea Trilogy.
Joe and I discuss video games, book tours, our most challenging books, and Joe’s background in film editing and what that brought to his writing career. We also talk about the male-centric cast of our debut novels—both where that came from, and how we developed as authors afterwards.

I listened to all of Abercrombie’s books this year (Pacey is an amazing narrator), and so far the first three Powdermage books! Big fan, I will check out the podcast!
