Day 2,941: Just Like That

As I was clipping Coco into her harness in bed—we have her set up with a leash that’s connected to the middle bar of our bed, and she wears her chest harness at night so she doesn’t go anywhere that would hurt her back—I was thinking about how life changed in an instant that night five weeks ago when she hurt her back.
