New-to-you author of WLW & lesbian books (Sapphic Reading Challenge #45)

It’s time for another special category of the Sapphic Reading Challenge. For this one, I’d like you to read a novel by an author of sapphic fiction who’s completely new to you. You might have come across their name several times or seen their books recommended, but it has to be an author from whom you’ve never read anything before.

 

Here are a few suggestions on where to discover a new author of WLW & lesbian books: If you’d like to give a newer author a chance, take a look at my list of WLW & Lesbian Fiction Newbie Authors to Watch Out for. It includes authors who had published only one or two sapphic books at the time I put together this list, so chances are some of these authors might be new to you.Take a look at the Golden Crown Literary Award finalists in the debut novel category for 2020 and 2021.Check out my Facebook group for readers, where we’ll talk about suggestions for the new-to-you-author category this week.
