Let the Games Begin...and End

We’re all used to the Olympic Games running for 16 days but they weren’t always so neatly packaged. From 1900 to 1928 they lasted for several months at a time. The longest on record were in London 1908 when the opening and the closing ceremonies were separated by a grand total of six months and four days! Who’d’ve thunk?
