Lisa I read your article and was wondering if the process of opening up a person in surgery could cut nerve endings and muscles and make them feel less pain. There could be other reasons for Cobb's results. (We won't talk about how unethical his study was.)

Lisa Hi John, Nerves are all over the skin. There are operations that cause you to lose most feeling of your skin. The point is that operations do many things to the body and all the effects aren't known.
