On his travels in the Catosphere today our busy kitty boy made several stops at various sites to gather news about Amazon's third quarter profits report. He made a stop at the
GeekWire site, the
Publishers Weekly site and at the
About Amazon News site.
It cut profits nearly in half.
All three sites report Amazon's profits were down in the third quarter because of the increase in the company's costs. These company costs were related to increased labor costs, increased shipping costs and global supply chain problems. The same issues are expected to negatively impact the company's fourth quarter profits as well. All three posts appear to have the same information.
Panzer says, "That Covid-19 pandemic thingy is still causing problems."
