Panel 1:  A single panel page showing the interior of the cafe: Lux Central.  I sit in the foreground, working on my laptop.

CAPTION:  Once a week, I make a go of the time-honoredtradition of working in a café.

CAPTION:  And Lux Central is perfect for it.

Panel1:  I bite the quiche, distracted.

CAPTION:  They have three locations aroundArizona.  But the Uptown Phoenix addressis just down the street from me.

Panel 2:  A look of surprise crosses my face mid-chew.

Panel 3:  I DEVOUR the quiche.

CAPTION:  I am maybe enamored with their quiches.

Panel 4:  Drinks

CAPTION:  But they’re also a bar.  And keep late hours on weekends.

Panel 5:  The crowd

CAPTION:  This garners them some unique company.

SPEAKER:  If I mix red bull, pixie sticks, and coffee…

CAPTION:  Sidenote.

ME:  Right next door is Pane Bianco, a sandwichand pizza joint owned by the much-lauded owner of Pizzeria Bianco.  If your scared of not being able to get atable at the much better-known location, this is a good place to sneak one ofhis award winning pizzas.
