Day 2,922: Figured

I am figuring some things out, guys.

There was a section of my book, an important section, that I knew wasn’t quite working the way I wanted. It was fine, but I wanted it to land a certain way. It wasn’t.

I figured it out today. And I love it.

It takes time for the good ideas to come, sometimes. Often, in fact. At least for me. I have to leave it for a while, let it simmer in my unconscious. I’ve been letting these few tendrils of story bubble in the background for a couple months, and ...
