How can you tell if your Spinnerella is authentic and not a reproduction? Can any She-Ra collectors help out?

A reader of The She-Ra Collector's Inventory emailed me today for some help. Here is her email:

Hi I was wondering if you could give me some info to help me authenticate a Spinnerella doll I have bought from ebay. I want to make sure it is the genuine article as I have paid a lot of money for it. . . It is a loose doll with a reproduction outfit.
