'A new poll by Black to the Future Action Fund found that Black adults in the US have become increasingly displeased with the direction the country is going. Among the key findings on the economy, the survey found that 58% of respondents were dissatisfied with the country, a 17 percentage point increase in just a few months. Polling also showed that one third of renters and mortgage holders were not confident that they'd make their next payment on time and nearly half reported difficulties paying for household expenses. Politically, the poll showed a slight drop in support with the President and Vice President, and that most Black adults want the Senate filibuster removed. To discuss the findings of the latest poll, The Takeaway spoke with Alicia Garza, co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, and the head of the Black to the Future Action Fund.'
