Addressing a line in Fresh

Hey friends and readers! Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I'm hoping it'll be more accessible here. It's been brought to my attention that there is a line in my book Fresh about self-diagnosing ADHD that's not sitting right with some readers and I want to clarify my intention with that line. It was meant to call out people who casually toss mental health diagnoses around in a flippant way like when people say, "I'm so OCD" because they like to clean or when people say, "I'm so ADHD right now" when they're feeling energetic or distracted. I did not at all intend for that line to disparage actual self-diagnosis, which is very legit and valid. That line could have (and should have) been clearer so I will be working with my publisher to edit the line for future printings as I (and Elliot) don't want there to be any confusion over the intention.
