TitleCard:  Tolmachoff Farms

Panel1:  A blank panel, where I am being asked about my weekend.  I reply with delight

DAD:  Doing anything this weekend?

ME:  IT’S THE SECOND DAY OF HALLOWEEN! (October 2nd)  I GOTTA GO TO A PUMPKIN PATCH!  I GOTTA GO TO TOLMACHOFF FARMS!

Panel2:  I point in the distance.  I have no idea where this place is.

 DAD: Oh!  Where’s that?

 ME: …Over there… somewhere.*

CAPTION:  *It’s in Glendale.

Panel3:  Me in the pumpkin patch.

ME:  Tolmachoff is a family farm with a pick yourown produce practice.  So of course, every year in October, you can stop by and get your pumpkins.

Panel1:  I walk around.  Behind me is the ticket stalls.

ME:  But if you want to have a little fun, you canpay to get into Pumpkin Days, running for the whole month.

Panel2:  An illustration of the jumping pillow.  It’s kind of like a giant trampoline, but the edges go right into the ground.  I am lying on it.  In the distance, kids are jumping.

ME:  It’s an outing that leans towards a youngercrowd.  With petting farms, a giantjumping pillow, and tiny train rides.

Panel3:  I stand in a corn maze

ME:  But if you hit the corn maze after dark, theyput a few frighteners for some good old fashion scares.

Panel4:  I begin to navigate the maze.

ME:  I kinda feel like if you’re gonna getspooked, someone should be there to enjoy it. So bring a friend if you’re going for the scares.

Panel1:  The maze.  I am looking around, trying to remember how to do these.

CAPTION:  I was alone, so I just did the normal maze.

ME: What’s the rule for beating mazes…? All lefts, or all rights?

Panel2:  Me on the train.  It is a kiddie train, made from oil drums, painted like cows.  I am clearly too big for it.

ME:  If you’ve got some little ones, and you wantto get them into the autumn spirit before the end of the month, this isdefinitely a great outing.

ME:  But if you’re an adult looking for a good scare, you might need to visit one of the more terrifying Fear Farm.  (Which I have yet to decide whether I am oram not brave enough to attempt.)

Panel3:  Relevant info including Tolmachoff’s address, hours, and costs.
