Wrting vs. Cattle Ranching

Here's the thing, writing is hard work. So is cattle ranching. At least, I imagine cattle ranching to be a difficult job, having never ranched cattle in my life. I did however attempt to ride a cow one night. She wasn't very happy about it and scared the bejeebers out of me when she turned her head and looked at me with her giant cow eyes and mooed and the farmer started shooting buckshot over my head.
