The Wish Trees: How Planting Trees Can Help Make the World a Better Place (2nd edition launch)

Getting set to launch the second edition of  The Wish Trees: How Planting Trees Can Help Make the World a Better Place.

The Wish Trees was originally just an environmental education tool for Andrea's children's tree planting work in Africa but it grew in popularity and tree quotes from the book started going viral like:
“I’m planting a tree to teach me to gather strength from my deepest roots.”― Andrea Koehle Jones, The Wish Trees

Andrea is now seeking representation for other environmentally themed picture books and a middle grade manuscript she is currently revising.

Andrea loves giving copies to children and teachers she works with especially at schools with environmental education programs as well as orphanages in Africa.  There has been more interest in the book recently due to climate change,  so she added a new updated version with a non-fiction STEM how-to feature called How to Plant a Wish Tree.

Contact Andrea if you hear of an outstanding agent interested in environmentally themed children's books.

To make sure your tree grows healthy and happy, talk to your parents and teachers about choosing the best tree seedling for your planting area. Also they can help you find a safe and legal place to plant it. Another fun way to plant a tree is through an organization that plants trees like The ChariTree Foundation — the children’s environmental education charity.

The tree-friendly paperless Kindle edition launched on July 4, 2021 and the paperback will launch in August, 2021.

"Beautiful illustrations and text pair to show the wonderful ways children can connect with nature through a single wish tree. The text is poetic and soothing, but simple enough for young listeners and young independent readers. A great gift for nature-loving kids and a wonderful addition to any classroom, library, or home." — Kate

“Wonderful environmental theme in a book kids enjoy. Postive and uplifting theme. Beautifully illustrated. Printed on recycled paper. Be sure to check out the Love Trees website where, for a small donation, a tree will be planted for your special child, teacher, etc. and that person will receive a “tree certificate” with their name on it.” – Cirroc
