Announcing my next book & last chance to get Expedition to Eden

Earlier this year when I pulled my books from Kindle Unlimited, there was one book I didn't publish wide, Expedition to Eden. The reason for this was simple: I didn't think it was good enough.
I recently started to look Expedition to Eden over again to see if there was some way I could fix it, and my imagination began to run wild with possibilities that hadn't occurred to me when I first wrote the book. I am a much better writer now than I was in January of 2020 when I published Expedition to Eden, and am capable of writing bigger, crazier, more complex, and more meaningful stories than I was in those nascent days of my career as an author.
The part of Expedition to Eden that jumped out at me was a small scene towards the end of the book involving the fallen angel Samyaza, who was the leader of the Watchers, an order of angels that rebelled against God in order to have sex with human women. I was inspired to read about Samyaza and the Watchers in the dead sea scrolls and other apocryphal texts, and the result, I hope, will be a story about fallen angels that is just as well researched as the scientific elements are in my novels Ebu Gogo and Jungle Jitters.
All that having been said, along with all the new stuff I am writing, most of the material in Expedition to Eden will also be included in this new novel, albeit in a highly altered form. As a result, Expedition to Eden is going out of print on October 1, and if you want to be able to track my development as a writer and see what I do with the original material, this is your last chance to grab it. I suggest getting the PAPERBACK immediately, as a hard copy of an out-of-print J. Manfred Weichsel story is sure to become a collector's item.
I'm not even kidding. There's an out-of-print anthology I have a story in going on ebay for $100.00.
In other news, my free short story Money Honey received a great review from Benjamin Espen!!! Please check the review out.
You know, writing reviews like this is one of the best ways you can support authors you enjoy, and I really do appreciate it. I understand that not everybody is able to write a long in-depth review like the one linked to above, but by simply logging into whatever store you bought the book at and leaving a short note there saying that you thought the book was funny, exciting, or scary, and that you recommend it to others, you can make a huge difference. People see those reviews, and make their own decision based on them.
If you are too shy to write a review or just don't have the time, many stores such as Amazon and Google Play allow you to leave star ratings without writing a review. I have been trying to get my books into the hands of as many new readers as possible this year, and simply by writing a short review or leaving an anonymous star rating, you will be helping me more than you can ever imagine.
My final bit of news is that Ebu Gogo, Five Maidens on the Pentagram, and Jungle Jitters are all on sale. Normally they are $3.99, but in the middle of August I kind of looked around, and the economy really seemed to be heading in the wrong direction. I want to keep my books affordable, so I decided to lower their prices to $2.99 for the time being. So if you have been waiting to buy any of my eBooks, now is a great time.
And that's it! When I blog next month I'll give an update on my new book. I hope to release it in November or December. Until then, thanks for reading!!!
