Day 2,875: like that

I’m 39 years young today.

It’s an odd thing getting to these ages. I remember thinking when I was younger that someone who was 39 was SO OLD. Like, fully-formed kind of old. Life is set and tiresome kind of old.

Now that I’m here, I realize just how young 39 actually is. 39 is still early in the real meaty part of life. I’m not YOUNG anymore, really, but 39 is soooo far from old. 39 is still early in the prime.

So…it’s weird. It’s weird to be here and have that kind of perspective.
