Never Forget 9/11

This is how the world woke up on September 11, 2001.  I remember this vividly in my mind.  I'd just gotten home from working night shift at my hospital, and was trying to wind down before going to bed.  I saw the first report break into the morning news, and thought it was a hoax.  Nothing like this could happen in this beautiful country that I loved.  When the horror set in that this was real, my first thought was my children.  I lived in Alabama but I feared that the entire world was going to war so went to immediately get my children from school.  In changed my thoughts forever about the world I lived in.
