Is the Internet Dead?
This article tries to make the case that it is. That most of it is webbots or AI pretending to be human. Don't get e wrong, I think that is a great influence and that, in fact, too much of it is and influences our reality (and this includes paid humans). But I still think the number is like 65% is real (looks like less than 60% is real). Hell, when trying to see how I could become a better social media person, I looked at some popular IG for writers and man was that some depressed content being churned out. Platitudes that made hallmark cards look deep were getting all the likes (rarely any comments, and rarely any comments that mattered). Then there's the ability of the algorithm to turn you into a bot. I pulled away because I saw how, though a simple positive reinforcement it had me saying shit that wasn't me. Crazy, huh? Your thoughts?
