Time for a re-read.
It must be about forty years since I last read Dune. At the time it was by far the longest book I'd ever read. I'm about 50 pages in and enjoying the return.

First time through for me. My wife’s been trying to get me to read “the six” for years.

I'm thinking the same, although I might wait until after I have seen Villeneuve's Film version.

Chuckling...Now you just have 23 more books to go in the series. Does Kevin Anderson type while he sleeps? Brian Herbert's Little Green Book novel is pretty fun too.
I can remember reading it about 45 years ago. I was on holiday in Queensland with my parents. We were near the delta of a big river and every night 10000s of fruits bats would rise up and fly out for the night. It was by far the biggest book I had read up to that time too.
