A self-worth poem

You’re more than willing to accept others
For the wonderful beings that they are
But when it comes to everything about you
You disregard yourself and your scars.
If you could only see your worth
You’re capable of shining bright too
You’re more than ready to live life
Instead of feeling so stuck and blue.
See yourself like you see the underdogs
The misfits and the misunderstood
You see so much greatness in all of them
By helping them in a way only you could.
Accept yourself for who you are
See yourself for all you could be
One day you’ll realize your potential
But for now, love yourself for me.
