A teaser and a freebie!

My heart goes out to everyone suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. And the earthquake in Haiti. And the families of those killed in Afghanistan. And to everyone who is having a hard time dealing with whatever crap life is throwing at them. Stay strong...even when you don't think you can take one more thing. You can. You've got this.

Only ONE week until Shielding Ember comes out in Audio! I know not everyone is an audio listener, but if you are...yay! You might notice that this one isn't narrated by Virginia Rose...that's because I wanted to be authentic so I found a POC to narrate this one since Ember is Black. Does this mean the story is different from my others? No. Ember is still strong, Doc is still alpha and protective, and you'll see glimpses of the whole team. :)

In news in my world...we had our deck rebuilt using composite instead of regular wood and I'm so glad it's done! Because...bark bark bark bark...the dogs didn't like people in THEIR yard. (And Callie wasn't happy she couldn't go out and bask in the sun (we didn't trust that she wouldn't jump off the edge of the deck! HA))

I'm sharing a teaser from Shielding Ember below...and I love this one so much because the model looks exactly how I picture Ember in my head! I can't wait for you to see her kick butt (and for you to find out if she wins a medal in the Olympics or not! :)
