London is defending the “real” achievements of the British intervention in Afghanistan


British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab on Tuesday defended the “rights” and “tangible” achievements achieved in Afghanistan by the UK’s intervention in that country over the past twenty years.

“We need to look at the achievements of the victims of many, British, American and Allied forces. In those twenty years, we have not seen Afghanistan being used as a base for terrorism abroad,” Raab told Sky. American intervention in the country is coming to an end.
