Back to the FUTURE with The Hollywood Museum and Michael J. Fox

The Hollywood Museum reopened this week on August 4, 2021. The first ever Back to the Future Trilogy exhibit is waiting for YOU! 

At the opening ceremonies, Donelle Dadigan presented a check to the Michael J. Fox Foundation and there were special messages from both Michael J. Fox and Bob Gale. You can watch both in my video above!

On the same day, Mel’s Diner created a NEW BURGER: The Hollywood Museum burger! I loved mine! You can visit the museum and then go next door for your special lunch only available at the Hollywood location.

The BTTF Film Franchise creator Bob Gale, who was instrumental in helping to create the BTTF Trilogy Exhibit, has loaned many of his personal never before seen artifacts and props from the films. In addition, the Shea’s have loaned out the Hero DeLorean from the BTTF Part 3 and other original props from the films. 

Dadigan said, “We are so happy to be able too once again welcome our fans from the U.S. and all over the world back to The Hollywood Museum, we have been looking forward to this day, post pandemic. Our priority is the safety of the public and to ensure everyone the best experience as they return to the museum.”

Among the other exhibits that await the fans include The Cat Women Exhibit, Marilyn Monroe, Harry Potter, Super Heroes of the 21st Century, Planet of the Apes, Dungeon of Doom, Hannibal Lecter Jail Cell, our definitive Max Factor Collection, and our beautifully restored Lobby with special Exhibits. 

The Hollywood Museum showcases more than 10,000 treasures from Hollywood’s humble beginnings thru today, including film, television, music, showcasing original props, costumes, star cars, and more.

If you have been to the museum before there is always something new to see, including artifacts specially brought out of the vault and not seen on public display for many years that will once again welcome you to the museum.
