My Writing Journey

My Writing Journey only began last year. Due to the pandemic I was off work. I'd read so many books that they began to blur (I know, who knew that could happen.) I'd read a book from one of my favourite authors and it frustrated me - not because it wasn't good, but because I didn't get enough of the character I wanted to read about the most (it was a multi POV book.) And I just said to myself - that's it, I'm going to write a book! I had a very basic idea in my mind, I told my closest friend about it and immediately she jumped in on the idea. She had so many ideas, she's so creative that we added layers upon layers to that basic idea growing it to better levels. We set writing goals and made sure we stuck to them. With both of us having families we did most of our writing at night, even if it was only a couple of hours. And that's how The Princess Of Etharia came into the world (like our own baby.)
All in all if you want to become a writer, you don't need any qualifications. All you need is an idea, time, goals. If I can write a book, so can you. https://media.tenor.com/images/d98e76...
