So it goes.
Some children's stories over at Patreon. Check em out. Will be a few more as I think through that entire series. Need the art for it too though. Will get working on it! Also apparently people from Sweden are flocking here. What's up?
Second, I love winter tangerine, so show some love to this retelling of fairytales. But also, not seeing much on their site from recent times. Hope they're doing well.
Oh and this is how the anthroprocene is going in Seattle. Surrounded by fire but the Cascades and the current winds are helping us. Man will it be horrible when it shifts though. 🤞 In fact even our usually all snowed up Rainier Tahoma looks rockier than normal (something I noticed but didn't comment on). Remember less snow melt means the swings from rainfall (in terms of river levels etc) will be worse in the future.
Don't worry, people in this city still think small apartment buildings right next to light rail is not the way to go. smh at these segregation era NIMBYS.
Anyhow, lets see how the apes are doing: looks like some people actually have the theory that the increase in non-religious people means that more people are likely to believe conspiracy theories?
Interesting that many seem to have moved away from church because of their anti-OG stances.
Instead the evidence points to evangelicals being the ones who are more susceptible to conspiracy theories, not the non-religious kind. And to note, this is true for religious vs non-religious in general (more pronounced for the evangelicals).
But one thing I do want to look into is that evangelicals who didn't go to church anymore (unlike the above screenshot, one assumes) were the same who overwhelmingly voted for Trump. So one wonders if you parse this information just a little more, will we see a stronger effect for those who like conspiracies being the same as those who learned or reinforced their religion on the internet? Worth looking into, I think. 🤔
Not that I think there isn't overlap (someone can go to church and be taught by the internet's good book (absolutely not the good book). 📖
Your thoughts? (oh and read this on the Parkland shooting survivor who's own father thinks it's a hoax because of Qanon)
Speaking of church, this Cardinal is trying to bring back the renaissance times, I assume. 412M$ 💰?! That's no laughing matter.
Meanwhile in the Olympics, I'm not sure what happened with Biles. Hope she gets better. And Osaka lost... man that sucks.
And this doesn't surprise me. Looks like it's tackling actual appropriation and not the BS kind I see talked about by too many other people.
