Music

When's the last time I shared some music I listened to?
Probably back in the Obama Administration, me thinks. Well listen to the above music. Good writing to music. Got it from a friend who put up this brilliant exhibition at the Met. The Sahel, a place I talk often about is the focus here. Its history as well as how oral story tellers like Griots play a large role there. Good music and good information to check out there.
That doesn't mean I don't listen to what the kids today listen to:

Nice beat. And trap is also good. Though I'm old enough that I'll listen to something that's new to me but ends up being almost ten years old.

Good times. Apparently there's a Bill Cosby-type line that got Ross in trouble. Yeah, not good. The rest works though. Like the long mix, personally. The comments (since when did Youtube comments improve by this level?) add the context needed. Your Thoughts?

Enjoyed it? Share it via email, facebook, twitter, or one of the buttons below (or through some other method you prefer). Thank you! As always, here's the tip jar. paypal.me/nlowhim Throw some change in there & help cover the costs of running this thing. You can use paypal or a credit card.
