It was great to see you at the authors reading and thank you for sharing this was us. I was one of those kids in speech class too. R's were my kryptonite:) I'm starting your book 3 tonight and could not be more excited!

Being included among Bella's heavy hitters made me feel like the new kid on the block. I hope readers weren't too disappointed that I didn't read myself. I wish I would have know other kids like you growing up. Having another compadre to twirl R's with would have made it less isolating.
Hope you enjoy Beyond the Smoke. It's special to me. It's the first manuscript I drafted from scratch after graduating from the GCLS Writing Academy. I felt my writing grow with every sentence.
