As a writer, I never said no to anyone. If an LGBTQ publisher asked me to do something, I did it. And I still do it. And I will continue to do it until I'm dead. That's just a reality in life as a writer, especially if you're coming from a minority or any marginalized group. But it's just as difficult sometimes for straight mainstream authors.
