Elfborn Monk: a new serial novel
Elfborn Monk, is live on Amazon and ready to read in serial format. I hope you like it. This is a new platform for Amazon and authors to publish stories one episode at a time. We'll try it and see. The first 12 episodes are ready and the first three are always free to read. New episodes should appear weekly.
This does not replace my normal publishing schedule. In fact, the upcoming book, Cognito Sum should be released by the first of August.

Ah, yes, for now, that's true. Amazon is working on opening it up to other countries. But a new book is come next week!
As Marilyn stated, the first 3 episodes are free, but Amazon also gives you 200 tokens for free just for trying Kindle Vella out. That was enough to purchase episodes 4 - 9 in addition to the first 3. Price seems to be based on the length of each episode. Buying additional tokens seems reasonable ($1.99 for 200 tokens - $4.99 for 525 - up to $14.99 for 1700 tokens). It seems to allow you to decide if you like a story before investing too much into the venture. One would hope you know if you like the story by chapter 9. I'll let Marilyn speak for herself, but it seems authors would need to bring some excitement/ interest up to the beginning in order to capture readers rather than spending 5 chapters to give background in a book and lose them after the free chapters. Excellent book as always up to Episode 12 Marilyn! I'll invest in seeing it to the end.

Once this is finished, will it be possible to purchase the complete book instead of going chapter-by-chapter?
Yes. At some point, the full book will be published as normal.
I loved this story!! Miss Marilyn, Please!!! I have read the vellum 6 or more times! I really would to know what happens to the monk, archer and ogress and how well they survive. I have read many of your series singles. Your writing appeals to me in a mindful way.
