Back to life…back to reality… as the song goes. I don’t recall the artist, but I think it was a 90’s hit that sticks in my head. This past week went quickly at points, and I was more productive than I’ve been in eons.

Now we head into full steam ahead and prep for GRL 2021, plus keep working, school, life, wifey duties, mommy duties, etc. All part of life. All part of reality.

Here’s my snippet for the week: (see below)

This week I jump to the next day where Erik and Asher encounter each other in of all places…high school gym class. A spot they didn’t know they shared, until now.

What is Rainbow Snippets? It’s a group of LGBT+ authors who post six sentences (or more) from a current WIP, published work or even something they’ve read that they want to rave about. Click on the link below the rainbow to be transported to a place of wonder where you will find tasters of everything from sweet romance, to hot and steamy, to fantasy and sci-fi.

I’m changing gears completely and going to a beloved co-authored work and a series of Upstaged. Written by myself and Cheryl Headford (Nephy to some) in 2012! Over the course of two years we wrote 12 books together! It was the most insane, wonderful time of my writing life! We hope you love the result. The first four books are published and up for sale at Extasy Press and on Amazon. Here is book #1. Upstaged: Opening Act

Blurb:

Wannabe singer and band front man Erik Von Nordgren hates snarky brit Asher Berkley with a passion. From the moment he turns up at practice with his twin sister Daisy, who is one of the band the two have hated each other.
Through a series of ‘tit for tat’ incidents they annoy, frustrate and exasperated each other. The die hard goth with purple eyes and the hard core rocker with dreams of the big time have nothing in common and no need to cross paths. Except to wind each other up.
Until the day that Erik throws Asher in the school pool, when everything begins to change. Erik is so far in closet he’s in Narnia and Asher has a dark past and trust issues that stand in the way of any relationship, let alone one with the brash American who hurts him every time they try to get together.
A relationship doomed from the start, or so you’d think.

“Well, if it isn’t my biggest fan.” Erik’s sneer twisted his face. “You prick. Have a great time after you left our awesome practice that you missed?”

“Not as much fun as I had before I left. You kiss pretty sweet for a straight guy.”

Laughter surrounded them, and Erik gave him a deadly glare. “Erik, you got…what?” one of the other students asked.

“Go for it, Erik!” another added.

“Shut it, Paul, Manuel,” Erik warned them. Like he’s straight. He enjoyed that kiss and he knows I know it.
