Whoops, I messed it up!

Welp! It seems I missed a crucial step yesterday—or maybe a couple of them!

Turns out Feedburner hasn’t yet abandoned its email blog post subscription service. Those of you who received yesterday’s post via email got it in the same old way (Feedburner), not via the new service (Follow.it). Thanks to those of you who wrote to let me know! I’ve now turned Feedburner email subscriptions off.However, some of you may get yesterday’s post via email twice—once from each service. For that, I’m so sorry! It shouldn’t happen again.Some of you got the Feedburner email but not the new Follow.it email, because (long story) I botched the transfer of addresses. I think I’ve fixed that now. With luck, you’ll get the Follow.it version of this post in your inbox, but not the old Feedburner version. Whew!If you should be getting email delivery but this post doesn’t show up, kindly check your spam for a verification email. It looks like Follow.it is going to require subscribers to reconfirm permission. Ugh. Sorry about the hassle!
