Scorching heat in shining Sun
Hot surface, feet would burn
No school and no homework
Sleeping late is a summer’s perk
All the time to play all day
Friends aplenty Sunday or Monday
Eat favorite food and grow more
Summer camps are a folklore
Never want to go home
Playing till aches in every bone
That’s the summer I had
