In A Changing Room With A Hypocrite

The worst type of kindness is the fake kind
The sweet words,
The public encouragement,
A facade for how unpleasant you really are.
If words were clothes,
Honesty never came in your size,
Though hypocrisy fits you like a latex glove.
And it is devastating to watch
The way you trick people into
Your changing rooms believing you are kind,
Cheerleading your every outfit,
Holding up those distortion mirrors from circuses
Showing your better angles.
Surely you must have some somewhere,
Deep down,
Under all those lie...
